TraceOff Support
Trace the shape. Both halves at once, or one each.

Common questions
- How does scoring work?
- Accuracy is how much of the shape you covered. Precision is how much of your own line stayed inside the band — this is why scribbling across the guide does not work. Finish inside the shape's par time for a speed bonus; go well past it and overtime starts costing you.
- Why did my score go down when I traced the whole shape?
- You covered it, but a lot of your line was outside the band. Accuracy and precision multiply together, so a complete but messy trace scores below a clean one. The green/orange/red redraw at the end of the round shows you where.
- How do I unlock more shapes?
- Total Points is the sum of your best on every shape-and-thickness pairing. Because each pairing only ever counts its best once, replaying something you have already mastered earns nothing — the way forward is a shape you have not tried, a thinner line, or genuinely beating yourself.
- Do thinner lines score more?
- Yes. Thin paths multiply the whole round, and each thickness keeps its own best, so a shape you have finished on Easy is still worth playing on Hard.
- How does Head-to-Head work?
- Lay the phone flat between you. Choose whether you are sitting at the ends or along the sides, and each half turns to face its own player. Head-to-Head does not affect your Solo progress and every shape is available in it.
- Are my scores backed up?
- They are saved on your device and included in your iPhone and iCloud backups. They are not synced between devices — deleting the app clears them.
- Is there an iPad version?
- Not yet. TraceOff runs on iPhone for now; iPad needs its scoring re-tuned for the much larger tracing area before it would be fair.
